Welcome

The Princess Academy, it isn’t a place you will ever be able to find on a map. If you Google it, well I don’t know what will come up but I can tell you it won’t be the place I’m talking about. The Princess Academy is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, an academy for princesses. I mean real ones though, for the most part. Being a resident at the Academy means your parents or guardians, for whatever reason, decided you would stay here until you find a prince and get married. I’m not in a big hurry to get married, and some pretty interesting things go on here at the Academy. These girls aren’t your Disney Princesses, that’s for sure. Some of them aren’t even human. You learn a lot of secrets about the world when you go to a school that no one can find on a map. And not because it isn’t huge, it is a school for princesses after all. We have all the essentials, shopping malls, spas, designers, cafes and anything else you could possibly want. You just have to live in the Academy, or be one of the residents in the small town of Academy, it’s confusing, I know.

I can’t tell you where we are, not geographically. And I can’t give you any of the royal secrets, that would get me into a lot of trouble. But you can get find out a lot of secrets from inside the Princess Academy. Like I said, some weird things go on around here. If you don’t believe in magic, maybe you shouldn’t keep reading. Because it’s about to get pure pixie dust around here.

By the way, you can call me Nerdella, most everyone else does. I won’t be your only narrator here. The other girls will introduce themselves in time. Their stories aren’t mine to tell.

I hope you enjoy reading about Real World Princess Problems.

-Ella (Nerdella), Princess of the Nerds
